Jonathan Evans, Pastor

Jonathan Evans has been the pastor at PSBC for 15 years. Before transitioning into his pastoral role he was our youth pastor for 7 years. His passion is for studying, teaching, and preaching the word of God. His love for people and compassion for the lost both locally and abroad can be seen throughout his life and ministry. Jonathan has been married to his wife Candace since 2002 and they have one daughter, Grace. A few of Jonathan's hobbies include cheering on the Dawgs, being a Star Wars fanatic, and traveling.

Charity Wood and Candace Evans

Charity Wood and Candace Evans are best friends which makes being youth leaders even more fun! They have 12 years combined working with youth. The kids are so fun and eager to learn about Jesus through games, object lessons and discussion. The kids enjoy dinner and a lesson and game every week. It is a highlight of the week for both of them!

Cherry Bishop

Cherry has been married to her sweetheart, Kenny for 45 years. They have 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several adopted children and grandchildren (not legally though). In Cherry’s spare time she loves to travel, especially with her family. She loves to read, especially good Christian based books.
